Enrichment Activities
Preston College believes it is important to develop all our students to their full potential. This is why we provide a comprehensive programme of extra curricular activities, known as "Enrichment."
Enrichment activities range from overseas visits to weekly sports events. You can also opt to study extra qualifications to help secure work during gap years, for example:

Our Sports Team programme takes place on Wednesday afternoons. Training sessions are available throughout the week and all students are encouraged to take part, no matter what their sporting standard. If there is an activity we do not already offer, please let us know and we will endeavour to establish a programme if at all possible.
If sporting activities aren't for you, then how about trying something new in our Hair and Beauty Salons? A range of treatments are available including:
aromatherapy, Chinese facial massage, eyelash tinting, colouring, hand and foot massage, Indian head massage, manicure, nail art and reflexology.

If you're hoping to get your kicks outside College, here's a list of just some of the superb trips you could enjoy! Alton Towers, city breaks in London and Paris, Club La Santa (Lanzarote) warm weather sports training, football trip to Phoenix (USA), outdoor pursuits, paint-balling, skiing / snowboarding holidays, sports internationals, ten-pin bowling, The Clothes Show and concert trips, multi-sport holidays to France and theatre trips to New York.
Enrichment Diploma
Whatever activity you take part in you are working towards our new Enrichment Diploma; a tangible piece of evidence to take with you to job or University interviews to demonstrate the fully rounded and outstanding individual that you are.
There are three levels of Diploma you can achieve, Bronze (30 points), Silver (65 points) and Gold (100 points). Every time you take part in an activity you earn points towards your diploma, there are also prizes and rewards available as you achieve each milestone.
Students are awarded:
1 point for every weekly activity they attend
2 points for representing the College
2 points for a day trip
5 points for an overnight trip
5 points for being a member of the Academy council
10 points for a trip abroad
10 points for being a member of the Learner Voice
